I've been asked many times...why chicken art?
It started by being a curious observant to my surroundings and being open to endless visual imagery. I had an opportunity to stay at a working horse and cattle ranch in central California and saw exotic roosters and chickens for the first time. Exotic and so unusual to me...........the Polish Chantecler, Araucanas, Polish Sultans. I loved the variety and endless visual possibilities. So...I thought I could have some fun and design something unique to the many lovers of these fowl!
